I didn't do any running last week.  I probably could have, but I just decided to take some time off, in fact the next three weeks are going to be very difficult and I may or may not get much running in.  What I really need is a trip to the chiropractor.  My right hip is still really bothering me, I feel like something is out of place.  The rest of my body feels pretty good and recovered.  I did quite a bit of walking over the weekend as we spent Friday and Saturday down in Las Vegas.

First day of any real exercise since the marathon. I went and played basketball for 45 minutes this morning and really didn't feel that great. Still quite a bit of pain in the hips and also felt like my hamstrings were pretty tight. I'm sure it is just a matter of time, before I start feeling good again. I've been really busy lately teaching a driver's education course after school so I've been putting in some longer hours than I usually do. I'm also trying to complete some assignments for an upper level independent college course. I really slacked off on the class over the summer, while I was training and doing other things and now I'm up against some deadlines. I wish I could write an essay as easy as I can read and respond to running blogs.

Did 5 easy miles from the store out to the pond and back. Clyde and Dave did the Entrada loop, but the rest of us just took it a little bit easier and only did the 5 miles. During the run, I didn't feel that bad, but I'm pretty sore this morning. I'm still needing to find a time to go to the chiropractor and find out if I'm out of alignment or what is causing the pain in my hips. Looks like I'm heading to Pine Valley after work, so I won't be at the club run in the morning.

5 mile run tonight up at Pine Valley. Ran from the cabin, down to a trail head then up the trail, for .5 then turned around. Body felt average. I saw 15 deer and 2 bucks, which is what we will be hunting for tomorrow.
