Had an adventure today.  Started out with .5 miles then turned around and went back home to get on a hat (still getting over being sick, so I had on the extra layers)  Then I headed up the La Verkin Twist, but decided to turn off on to a side trail I've never been on, well the trail didn't go very far and there I was left to do some cross country running.  I ended up on top of a little hill, then made my way down to a little gully, but I had to do some free climbing to get down a 20 foot drop off.  Anyway, I was thinking the whole time, how can I only be a few miles from home and down in a place like this that seems so remote.  After some more climbing I was able to get back to another trail that lead to a more familiar area and then I made it back to the highway and extended the run down through Confluence Park.  All in all a pretty easy 7.5 mile run.
