Nice workout in the neighborhood this morning. Warmup then six times 3 min at 10K pace or so (7 flat ish) with 1 min jog/walk. Plan was to be more like 7:15-7:20 pace, but felt pretty good so just went by feel - last one was 6:29 pace. Cool down 1.5 mi back to the ranch. I've opted for a local coach to get me through the marathon in Sept - young guy that is asst coach at Trav's school. I like his plan through 8 weeks and then we'll tweak for the next section. |
