Lunch run around the neighborhood and bridle trails.  After a mile warmup, did 6X 2 min on 1 min off.  Hit the ons between 6:05 and 6:18 pace - felt pretty good.  Trying to decide what to do for the next couple months.  Feel like I should concentrate on short fast stuff, core and lifting.  Maybe four or five runs per week of 4-5 miles, and resistance/core every other day.  We'll see.

That sounds good.

Of course it all depends on what your racing goals are. What are they?

Wellll - I guess maybe thats where I need to start, eh? I really only get motivated by the summer track series lately (and the occasional Masters National Championship Meet) - being able to run hard in the 200 through 2-mile. Feeling soft and heavy, so I really need to do some cross training for a while.

Maybe adopt a vegan diet?

Not gonna happen, but its funny you went there. We are going to go gluten free for a couple weeks (at least) during Trav's break to see if that's the source of his GI issues. He tested negative for full blown celiac disease, but I really suspect some level of gluten intolerance. Would be nice to actually have something to latch on to and deal with.
