| Carriage hill metro parks. Trails, lots of leaves, roots and some hillage. Nice 64 degree run with a cool wind. Once I loosened up felt pretty good. Quick for trails. 7.5 easy.

| I set out to the 'classic' but instead did the 'semi-classic' today.... 10 mile warm up, followed by 8x400m with 50m recoveries. Pace was up and down, as my legs were tired. Pace would be about 6:30 to 6:00 I was going to cool down for a few miles or do 4 more intervals, but it was dark and I was tired. Overall OK though,

| Very tired legs. Yesterdays run should not have drained me this much - but maybe combined with the lack of sleep. Oh well, just an easy 6 miler

| Today was a lesson in math. I learned that 19.5 > 20. Yes, I know, that sounds like silly common core math, but 19.5 was indeed greater. I ran the toughest trails in Montgomery county. Orange loop x6. My legs are killing me. It winds and curves, hills steep and gradual, rocks, tree roots (that the leaves hide), streams and slick mud spots all make for a challenging trail. So while my legs ALMOST feel like I ran a marathon it was a good run. Some boy scouts hiking let me know how many times I lapped them. I hope this run pays some rewards when my body assimilates it.
