I have not raced i n a long time I figured I needed a 5K and a half before I run another Marathon in June. Cool morning race, 28º, but no real wind so that was nice. The race was hilly with 25 turns which took off some time for sure. I am not in 5K shape, but all things considered did OK. Won my age group and 4th overall master. I did not start too fast but the hills sucked my legs up and I was feeling my lack of fitness at the end. Good training run :)

Grate race to check on your fitness without beating up your body. I love the idea of a hilly 5k. Let's see how you do in the half.
