total time 1:51:26. since I have been dealing with lots of soreness I wasn't really sure about this run. I run the Murdock canal trail which was flatter and a bit lower in altitude. I had felt better but I deliberately ran the first bit at 9:45 pace ( 3 minutes) and then gradually sped up. I realized how good I was feeling and decided that I would run a tempo from 5.5 miles to 9 miles and then slow again. It went pretty well...splits 9:24, 9:16, 9:14, 9:13, 9:18, 9:01, 8:56, 8:51, 8:44, 9:34, 10:08, 9:48.
