total time 43:48. plan- warm-up 0.75 miles then 0.25 miles hard aternating with 0.25 miles easy. hard was 7:30 to 8 min/mile pace and easy was 9:45 to 10 min/mile pace. splits 8:51, 8:32, 8:47, 8:46, 8:52 at 4.65 miles I stopped to talk with friends for 5-10 minutes. it was hard to get that last segment in.
