Marathon Pace Run... The schedule is 6 miles at marathon goal pace. Ran the virgin river trail. It was a false flat coming back. First mile was more of a warm-up and I didn't have enough time to do another mile to make all 6... I slept in. The push wasn't that bad. I'm suppose to feel good after this run... I think I did?! Splits: 7:37, 7:09, 7:07, 7:05, 7:04, 7:07, and 8:00(0.5 mi). Ran home from work since cathy stole my car from my office. Also, it was really nice of her to leave me a pair of shorts and running shoes. It wasnt too bad on the heat index (98 degrees). I tried to run slow. Splits: 7:47, 7:43, 7:49, 7:50, 7:35, and 7:38 (0.7 mile). |
