This was an awesome race!!  Laughlin throws an adventure race every year that is kind of like a triathlon only with about a mile of rafting instead of swimming.  Another difference is that it's a relay.  We did it as an extreme team so there were 4 of us that did the whole thing together. Twas me, Rebecca, and 2 friends from my pilot training class.

We averaged about 20 mph on the bikes and we were drafting.  My friend Joe had some music blasting on his fanny pack while we biked and it was way fun.  We actually passed the team the won during the bike portion however we ended up getting a flat tire.  Jeff then had to change the tube 3 times before we actually got it to fill up without pinching and losing all the air.  Lucky too since it was our last tube.  After that delay we had to wait 15-20 minutes at the first transition area for our driver to get there with our running shoes.

The run consisted of some obstacles and a huge hill.  From there, 3 of us went out on the raft for the most horrible experience on earth (it was a small raft).  We then had to run up the hill and climb over a wall to cross the finish line.  Good times :)
