I actually did speed work today. It was the first session in about a year if I remember correctly so I figured it was post-worthy. One mile warm-up to the track and did a couple of other warm up exercises. I did 4x800 with 3 min rests and then 4x400 with 2 min rests. Track has an uphill/into-wind portion so that works you pretty good. My goals were under 3 mins for the 8's and 85 for the 4's. Splits: 2:55, 2:49, 2:51, 2:57, 85, 84, 84, 79 Not too shabby. |
