Ok so I wanted to run the half but my knee is still being weird so I ran the 5k instead.  I warmed up by running the first half mile of the marathon with Becca poo and I ran back.  The race was pretty chill.  No visible competition at the start.  There were a few kids that looked serious at the front but not too serious.  I think I caused everyone to go out faster than they wanted to.  I heard them close to me for about a half mile and I was at a 5:50 pace. I didn't hear them after that.

It was an out and back so it seemed super fast actually.  My first mile was 5:50 and then it was about 6:05 for the next two.  I finished and my watch was saying closer to 3.2 so I would say my time was closer to the 18:40sh range.  I got a little medal and a little teddy bear with the number 1 around his neck.  It was a fun race.  Love me some 3.1
