I decided to run the golf cart paths at Red Tail Golf Course near work. Holy poop was it a workout. 22 mph winds with tons of rollers and steep ups and downs. I'm going to try and take advantage of the golf course before it opens up for biznooch.
I ran from Devens into the town of Harvard and back. I was scouting for a good entry point onto the base. Even though my run to work tomorrow should only be about 13 or so miles, I think it's going to be a butt kicker. Things get pretty hilly starting right over the Boxborough line.
I ran to work this morning..... Adventure! I could see myself doing more of this in the future. There is one significant climb that comes right about the same time the big climb hits in the Sugarloaf Marathon. It doesn't feel good, but it should help me on race day :)
