Good run, but super slow. I was trying to keep my heart rate in an aerobic zone as to build up my aerobic base. I guess I'll be running some high 8's and low 9's for a while.

Hey it's all good. At least your running right? High 8's is no big deal :)

This is true.... It just seems that if I am able to run it faster (mid to low 7's) then I should. Although running faster goes against the MAF (max aerobic fitness) training that I would like to try. I guess if I'm patient and hold steady for 7 weeks or so with this slow training, I should eventually see my pace increase while my heart rate stays low. We'll see.... patience is the key.

Sorry.... MAF stands for Max Aerobic Function.
