Was pleasantly surprised this morning to find out that work was cancelled. The place I work at is rather isolated (50+ miles from any city over 20k in population) and today was a very icy day. So I got to put in some desired mileage, when I thought I wasn't going to be able to run at all today, since we are going to a family party this evening, which would've been right after work.


AM - 8.25 miles on the treadmill. All easy, except I did the last minute at 6:00/mi, and felt pretty strong. I think I'm getting a little better.


PM - 7.2 miles on the treadmill. All easy, with a couple of strides.

AM - Treadmill at work. 5 miles. Had to get a doctor's note before I could use the gym there, hence the long delay (I've been working there for 7 months now).


PM - Treadmill at apartment gym. 4.59 miles. Pizza night with friends!
