Slow sluggish miles again this morning.  I did put in an extra mile this morning with no problems from the knee.  If all goes well this week I'm going to try running 4 times next week.

What's up with the heat?  It was cooler at 7am on Friday than at 5am this morning.  The cloud cover kept in the heat and bumped up the humidity.  Nasty.  I shouldn't complain though, there are worse places to run this time of year.

Worse places? I wonder where those could be?

I was thinking of you Burt.

I felt the collective thoughts of the entire blog weighing me down this morning on my run. LOL!

there are definitely worse places to run, although i will agree that this summer has been a bit funky. nice job this morning. hope your knee behaves this week.

I ran at 9:15 and it was not bad!!! On Saturday when we started the race at 3 am it was hotter than when we finished around 7:30. For real. It was odd.

Glad to hear the knee is doing well!!!

Burt - The collective thoughts of the blog are lifting you up, not weighing you down.

allie - The knee isn't giving me any problems on runs, but I'm not going to be doing squats any time soon. I think it will be fine on back-to-back days next week as well.

Kelli - July always seems to be the most uncomfortable month of the summer for running so I'm looking forward to August, although I only ran 36 miles in July. 80 set for August, I'm getting there. Maybe I'll run the Halloween half.

That is funny cause just this morning I was thinking August was always the worst and that so far (2 days in) we had lucked out. It was kind of cold this am (57!!)
