Five miles on 700 South at 6:30 this morning.  A month ago the sun was out and getting hot already at 6:30 but today it didn't come up until 7.  Already getting darker.  Average pace of 8:51 was slower than last Friday but still my third fasts time of the year.  That's depressing actually.  Started to push it at mile 3 and ran an 8:14 but my endurance sucks and that's all I had.  The next two were 8:50s.

Nice work Chad! The endurance will come back and your speed isnt' all that bad - to me anyway!! Faster pace than I ran a 5K this morning.

RAD, you had just swam and biked and your area is loaded with hills.

Thanks Burt. Didn't recognize the quote?

Well, maybe I'll take that, but still. I've struggled a TON since UVM just getting my paces down to low 9's and feeling comfortable. It has only been the last couple weeks I've been able to go beneath that and not feel like I'm dying!! So, it will come back.

Oh, and we'll be by the hood in the morning if you want to join us :) Regular spot 6:30...or you can just wait for us to come to you!

It's very tempting. But I'm still going to stick to my conservative schedule for a while longer. I don't want a setback. Have fun.

My favorite part of that movie is when they're singing and the Grinch doesn't know the words.
