Started to run but didn't make it very far before ankle got sore and had to quit.

Tried to run again. Ankle felt good but got sore 1/2 mile in so I bailed on the run and went 20 miles on the mt bike.

I was planning to run a local 5k here in town that I usually run but knew that my ankle wouldn't let me.My son ran 22:20 on a slightly short course with 0 training runs except for running 1 mile in gym class 2 weeks earlier. He ran that mile in 6:16. Oh to be young again. He was playing lacrosse until recently though so I'm sure he probably still had some fitness from that.
