The weather has been nice the past few days and I finally got a chance to run during the day while it was warm. It was 54 degrees and sunny. I ran 10 miles up around the reservoir and there were only a couple of small spots that were still muddy. I ran the first 4 miles at 8:16 pace then the next 6 averaged 7:42. This finally felt like a real run going a little further and faster than I have in a while. I was surprised how tired I was by the end. My fitness isn't at a very high level right now. Last mile was 7:26. Overall pace for 10 was 7:55.

Hey Dave, I'm surprised I haven't seen your blog before today. It looks like you are a gamer I want to chase. I loved your 2011 St. George race report.

Hey Dave, looks like I'm getting some of your wet weather. Had to run on the TM Saturday because of thunderstorms, rain, lighting, etc. Way too cold for me (about 40 degrees) :-)

Glad your starting to feel good and get some speed back. I'm sure your fitness will come back quickly!

Dave, are you running shamrock this saturday? I am way out of shape but might do it just for fun if you and some others show up. maybe we could do a warm up cooldown together too. let me know what you think

Kam- Thanks

IJR- It's going to be too hot before you know it.

Scott- I'm way out of shape too. I won't be making it to the race Saturday.I'm going to be out of town. I'll have to catch you on another one. Maybe Smithfield Health Days?
