Afternoon run, I figure I need to do a couple of these in case it is a hot start time. Windy but pace came pretty easy, really trying to be extremely conscious of pace now that the race is coming up. With the taper legs are feeling fresh and trying to keep pace slower has become a bit of a challenge. I'm wanting to run more than my schedule has me, I guess that comes with the weeks of a lot higher mileage. The more I think about the race the more nervous I get. I'm worried about staying mentally strong for this run. It will be my first marathon so I'm not sure what to expect. |
