10/69:50 Easier run. Legs were still a little weak from yesterday but after 5 miles or so they loosened up and felt fine. Heading to Freeman Park tonight to run with my daughter hopefully I can somewhat get close to what the course is. If not at least she'll know what the terrain is like.

4.1 Miles in Freeman Park with Chloe. 1 Mile warm up then we did 12x200x200. I figured I would try to see if she could do them in 52 as a starting target and try to adjust from there.

1 - 57  2 - 54  3 - 54  4 - 54  5 - 54  6 - 52  7 - 54  8 - 54  9 - 53  10 - 53  11 - 52  12 - 50.

I'm doing this more for my "coaching" reference  than anything else. Recovery 200's were between 90-100 with 10-20 second breaks before each 200. She did really good locking into 54. This was her first real interval workout and we'll see if she can continue to be able to handle increased distances at the same pace. At least now I know what her target is. I aslo picked her up directly from 2 hours of dance to do this. She's pretty tired now and I think she did really good. Since dance started I talked with her coach and get to coach her on Tuesdays and Thursdays, should be awesome if I can manage to make Thursdays fun. Best quote I've ever come across "Boys have to run fast to have fun, Girls have to have fun to run fast". I'm trying to take that to heart. She told me tonight that when it got hard she tried to smile and it kept her going.........

Nice bit of running and coaching with Chloe...I like the quote and think that it is true for younger kids.

Looking good for Tiger-Grizz and you for Big Cottonwood!
