Great run today up a portion of the River Trail. Today I just paid a lot of attention to my breathing and footstrike so that I could better assess how quick I could push myself. I ended up running my entire time at around 8:30/mile. I haven't had a 5 mile run like that for quite a while. It felt awesome. I really hit my stride around 4 miles and really felt like I had a lot left to give. That is great with the marathon as close as it is. |
