7 degrees this morning. I would have loved to go longer but an hour was about my limit in the cold. I ran up toward the monument and back.

Same course as yesterday, but a balmy 12 degrees this time. I also didn't run under the 5th Street bridge because I saw hobos sleeping there yesterday and the folks at the paper said it probably isn't safe.

A sweltering 17 degrees this morning. Didn't even put on the hoodie. I'm getting more nervous about this town though. After Tuesday's warning about the hobos under the bridge, I heard a radio report last night about packs of wild dogs roaming around attacking people. I carried my pepper spray, as if it would do any good.
