| | Went for 5 mile run in 28:43. Felt pretty good. Went snowboarding for the rest of the day. | Add Comment |
| | Did some sprints in track practice, then a mile cool down. Felt way too good to end it there, so went on a four(and a bit) more mile run, but went pretty slow said my watch, but I felt like I was flying. That kinda put a dent in my run, but oh well. | Add Comment |
| | Track, tomorrow is the blue and white meet so we are supposed to take it easy. I wish I would've put more miles in now, but can't change the past, just try harder in the blue and white. | Add Comment |
| | Blue and White meet. Kind of a pre-season thing, to see for varsity. Mile-4:41. Ran with Tyler for most of the way, but then he outsprinted me at the final 300. The wind was pretty bad, and so he drafted off me for most of it, which I'm alright with, but in a meet, I'll do that instead on others. Two mile no one was around my pace. Nick hadn't had a lot of time to train, so he only ran an 11-minute, and he was closest to me. It was pretty fun, lots of cheering. First meet I'm going to be at is the Cache-Box at USU, and I'm super excited. | Add Comment |

Shamrock Shuffle (3.2 Miles) 00:17:20, Place overall: 1, Place in age division: 1 | | Went to the Shamrock Shuffle. There was an absolutely terrible wind for the first one and a half miles. I've usually always loved the first uphill in this race, but this year was terrible. The uphill plus the wind made it almost impossible to run a 6-minute pace. My first mile clocked at about 6:20 or something like that. My next miles were faster, but the wind wasn't pushing me until halfway through. I finished with not a very good time for me, but Mitch Allen didn't finish too well either, so I didn't feel that bad about it. His GPS also said it was 3.2 miles. Later that day I just needed to run more, so I went on a 3 mile run 8 hours later and found that the wind had not changed a bit. | Comments(3) |
