Finshed this RAW, Ranger Athlete Warrior, assessment today. We started with benching 185lbs as many times as possible and then dead lifting 225lbs as much as possible. When I got to the dead lift, I started to pick up the weight and something in my lower back/behind popped and I stopped. I am pretty sure it is just a pulled muscle of some kind, but it made me pretty nervous! After that we did this thing called a 'beep drill'. You put a CD in a car and use 20m with a line on both ends that you have to run to every time it beeps. It progressively gets faster and when you can't reach the line twice in a row, you are out. The mile ended up being around 10min. but we were sprinting in the end to try and reach that dang line. It was pretty intense! Couldn't get out for another run unfortunately... |
