It was beyond cold this morning.  0°!  I have to admit that it does look cool to have all the trees with 3 inches of fur (frost) on them, but it is not worth it. I have to say that at that temperature an hour is about all I can handle before frostbite sets in.  Even my car REALLY didn't want to wake up.  Alright, after all that whining...

Nice Run. Very cool. Pocatello was -6 this morning. Have you tried running with hand warmers in your gloves. This is how I survived last weather running when it was between 0 and -10 below outside.

From Dale on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 13:09:40

At that temp, I think a dreadmill is called for!

From cody on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 13:09:53

Hey Kory-

I feel for you up in Pocatello. Its usually colder up there than in Logan. My hands actually do really well. I have some warm wool mittens I use for below 32 degrees. Nice and toasty. The main problem was my neck and face. I need to use a scarf or something. I need a scary full face mask too. Although I hesitate to do that as people are already staring as it is...

Dale-

You are right! My treadmill is in storage until I move this weekend. It can't come soon enough.

From Jon on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 14:01:27

So, hypothetically speaking, if someone were to live very close to you and help you move a treadmill twice, would he be able to use the treadmill as thanks? Hypothetically, of course.

Cody what works perfect (good Christmas present) is the UnderArmour cold gear turtle neck and UnderArmour cold gear hood. I have these and they work perfect for any bad weather. I haven't ran outside the last two days, because I think I've developed PF in the heel, but not sure. I haven't went to the doctor yet.

But I would have been unmotivated to run outside here the last two days as cold as they were anyway.

Here's a links to these items I mentioned above.

Thanks Kory

I will check it out. Good Luck with the PF (or other injury). If it is PF, get the strassburg sock. It did the trick for me (that and ice).

Jon -

hypothetically, maybe. If that scenario actually did happen (it might be hard since the treadmill will be moved monday morning and said person would have to be present), I believe that person would have to promise to record all 3 weeks of the Tour de France in July for payment. So, maybe...

From dave holt on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 14:37:34

ummm.... brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

From Jon on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 15:58:24

Hypothetically, I thought you were moving everything from storage on Sat morning- what is happening Mon morning?

What channel is the Tour on? Hypothetically speaking, of course.

From cody on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 16:15:24

Dave - yep

Jon - Hmm Please replace Monday with Saturday and it will make more sense. Of course, rumor is that someone might be in SLC Saturday, but he will probably leave after moving the cursed treadmill, right? Hypothetically...

The tour is on Versus. Can't miss watching lance back in action...

From JOn on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 16:22:41

Hypothetically, someone won't be leaving for SLC till noon-ish.

Unfortunately, hypothetically speaking, if someone were to subscribe to DishNetwork TurboHD Silver package, it would include many channels, but Versus HD would not be among them. That would require an upgrade to Gold, which would hypothetically cost an extra $8/month. If someone wanted to pay the difference for a few months, then I guess it could be done, hypothetically speaking, of course.

From cody on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 16:31:05

crap

I had better find someone who hypothetically could accept my $8 token of gratitude for the month of July
