Today, to be nice to the hurt foot, I ran over to Logan High and did laps around the grass field.  9 of them.  How boring.  The foot really hurts walking around the house barefoot, but gets better if I wear shoes and even better if I run on grass.  It felt really good today while on the grass.  Good sign I think.  I think it may be a tiny bit better than yesterday, but it is hard to tell.  I'm trying to balance fitness loss and letting the foot heal.  I plan on riding my bike this afternoon to keep up the aerobic activity.

I wouldn't worry about pushing yourself too hard. Because you've already trained and anything you do now will not benefit you in STG. Take it easy and get that foot better so you can PR at 2:37.

Cody, you have plenty of time to heal and be ready. 2:37 is well within reach and if all goes well I see you running closer to 2:35.
