Easy 5 on "H-OH-AC-WP-PW-GC-H" course.  I can sure get used to this 5-6 miles a day thing.  Foot felt good except for during the strides.  The push-off causes pain.

Best of luck at the marathon. I hope the foot hold up.

Have a good drive to Denver.

Let's see... Home, old home, aquatic center, willow park, planet walk, golf course, home. I'm pretty confident in that interpretation.

That is really just a fancy way of saying WP-PW. Unless you did the little loop on your old street, or did a little loop in the golf course, in which case those letters would be required due to the added distance. But since your mileage is still 5.0, I'm guessing you didn't actually do them.

Matt-

Thanks, me too.

Jon - you are correct in your interpretation. However, I have a loop that goes H-WP-(via Driving range)-PW and back, so I like to differentiate. I am pumped about driving for 9 hours with 2 kids. Can't wait....

So either you need AC-WP-PW or WPvDR-PW.

Drive fast and you can make it in 7 hours. Not counting stops.

I have been debating about leaving via bear lake rather than the ogden route that I always do. It looks like it is much shorter, but 15 min longer. Of course, getting stuck behind semi's will stink. what do you think?

Good luck.

I hope things go well for you. Concentrate on having fun and not worrying about the foot. Remember positive thoughts and have the race of your life.

Good luck in Ft. Collins!

Cody, I always take the Bear Lake route as long as snow is not a concern. It is about 15-20 minutes faster, from what I can tell (I speed equally on both routes). If you go the speed limit, it may be a hair slower, but close. It's prettier. Semi's aren't too bad, either- almost none up the canyon, then once you get into the Wyoming side, the roads are pretty straight with minimal traffic (i.e. easy to pass). And the big uphills have passing lanes. Keep your eyes open for deer.

My two cents. I always go Bear Lake when I can.

Mapquest says Bear Lake is 10 minutes faster and 45 miles shorter.
