I ventured up above the inversion this morning by running up to canyon road and continuing on Grand View Drive.  It was my first time on that road.  Sweet view of the valley filled with gunk.  The only problem was that it was around 40 degrees up there and I was dressed for 10.  Major over heating today.  Today was all about just getting the miles in.

Yep. The pm 2.5 is about 40 right now. It got bad over the weekend. The light rain that is falling should help though. It was cool checking out the goop from the top. It was centralized over Paul's house and got better the farther away from "downtown" you got.
