Easy miles to von's park.  Joined up with the Ragnar runners for a bit.  I can't believe that 1500 teams are running WBR this year.  Insane.

PM: Hiked up Deep Canyon (again) with the Scouts.  Bunch of whiners.  Most did well though.  Only one was actually crying.  Most of us made it to the saddle (8100') in 80 mins.  Jogged easy down.  6 miles 2700' vert

The Ragnar runners go through Von's Park?

1500 teams? I thought they maxed out at 800 a few years ago. I wonder how in the world they manage that many people.

Wait- Ragnar is now going on Thursday to Saturday? Are they only starting teams during the day, or 24 hrs a day?

So they did 500 teams on Thursday and 1000 on Friday. Chaos. They are only starting during the daytime. This way there will a bunch finishing pretty much non-stop Fri-sat.

They ran though providence but not by von's park. I just ditched them and went my own way.
