AM: 5 miles (4.5 running - .5 walking) - Felt good today.
PM: Received a Transforaminal Epidural Steroid Injection. This reduces swelling of the irritated nerve and speeds recovery. It includes a small amount of Lidocane with the steroid to provide immediate relief along with the long term relief of the steroid. Upon rising off the table, I felt no pain in any movement that normally produced pain. I know that the pain is only masked so I went home and rested to provide a safe period of healing.
