I've run off and on (more off than on) throughout my adult life. Most recently I started running in May of 2007.

5K PR: Colder Bolder in December 2009 in 22:50.

10k PR: Bolder Boulder in May 2009 in 48:06.13.

1/2 Marathon PR: Canyonlands Half-Marathon in March 2010 in 1:43:20.

Marathon PR: Newport (Oregon) Marathon in June 2010 in 3:42:17.

I have completed two full marathons.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Get back to consistent running.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Sub 3:30 marathon.

Personal:

I grew up in Utah, but live in Colorado now.

I am married and am a working mother of four children, ages 9-19.

Slow medium-long run.

Michelle created a new runner. Her name is Marci. We all left our houses and met at a more or less central point and then ran together for about 5 miles ending at Marci's house. I think that was the farthest she has ever ran. We went slower than usual on Marci's account but then after Marci dropped off, Michelle and I didn't speed up much. When kept running together until I had about 1.1 miles left and then we parted ways to go to our respective homes. I finally got under 10:00 on that last mile all by myself.

I think that Marci is committed and will become a regular on our Saturday runs.

There were no sprinklers this morning.

Only a marathoner would call 10 miles a "medium long run"!!! These days, that is a long run for me.

I'm just catching up...It is always so exciting when we get to see new runners make new milestones!

Hope your new week is full of less humidity, more sprinklers, and meeting lots of new cool bloggers :-)....oh, and some good runs too (that IS why we blog, right?).
