Running Accomplishments:

I've run off and on (more off than on) throughout my adult life. Most recently I started running in May of 2007.

5K PR: Colder Bolder in December 2009 in 22:50.

10k PR: Bolder Boulder in May 2009 in 48:06.13.

1/2 Marathon PR: Canyonlands Half-Marathon in March 2010 in 1:43:20.

Marathon PR: Newport (Oregon) Marathon in June 2010 in 3:42:17.

I have completed two full marathons.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Get back to consistent running.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Sub 3:30 marathon.


I grew up in Utah, but live in Colorado now.

I am married and am a working mother of four children, ages 9-19.

We had a big group this morning. Besides me, there were Michelle and Michelle and Ariane like usualy, but Michelle 1 brought her sister-in-law and Ariane brought her neighbor. Her neighbor had a baby 6 months ago and hasn't run since before her pregnancy, and so she was slow and took some walk breaks, which was just fine with me. I did get significantly faster on the third mile than I was on the first two. I guess it has always taken me two really slow miles before I could do anything else. It's just that really slow is much slower now than it used to be.

I'm still trying to get back in the saddle again. I can't believe I actually managed to get out on a Monday morning today. I met up with Michelle and Michelle. They had to go slow because of me. I can't believe how slow I am now.

I was thinking yesterday that maybe I should start doing the shred again. Then I remembered that Carly has my shred video. Maybe I'll have to get it back. She's skinny and doesn't need it as much as I do.
