Well, I did my weigh-in this morning. The result is -2.4 pounds. (Now that I'm using Wii Fit to weigh myself, I get accuracy to 1/10 of a pound.) That's not quite as much as I hoped, but I wasn't as diligent about the diet this past week as I was previous weeks. It's time to get serious again.

After the weigh-in, I didn't want to do the shred. I just wanted to read my book. I'm reading Fall of Giants by Ken Follett (thanks to Tracy's blog for the recommendation). I read a bit, but then I made myself do the shred (level 2). So now I'm sweaty and smelly. I guess I better take a shower.

Isn't it good? I'm almost finished. I find it interesting because I don't know a lot about the WWI era. There are some slow parts midway through the book, but all in all, I'm reading voraciously.

Good job on the weigh in. I'm sure you haven't plateaued in your weight loss, but you don't have that much farther to go. 9 lbs or something left, right? That's great for 3 weeks.

I read one of his books. Pillars of the Earth. I loved it!!

Fall of Giants was really good, but I liked his earlier books better. "Pillars of the Earth" and its sequel (World without end?) were wonderful!

I think that 2.4 pounds in a week is a lot!

I loved Pillars of the Earth. That's one of my favorites of all time. World Without End was not as good in my opinion, but still worth the time it took to read it.

Nice work Carolyn! 2.4 pounds down is AWESOME! I may have to check on that book.

I LOVE Ken Follett ... all of his books.
