1 hour on the spinner. Mondayed it with a very slow get go and then pretty solid on the second half.

8 running miles pushing Myler in the jogger into B-hills and back. Super nice day. 78F and sunny. Just feeling blessed to live where I do. The home yes but more so the country, state and city. Dicks bbq about 70 min's before the run isn't a great idea... mental note.

1 hour on the spinner. Consistent grind throughout the ride. Had to stop 20 min's into the ride and pour Myler a bowl of Cheerios w/ tall glass of whole milk. Then back to the spinner.

12 mile run while Myler was in pre school. DC loop and extended back into B-hills on the inner river trail then back to River Road. Felt so so for the first 6. Felt good to 10 then the last 2 miles were hard. 7:13 avg. My running is seriously in a different world right now. Groin/ab/ thigh pain was very high a long with super sore calves... I'd be hard pressed to run a 1:30 half. Ugh... I can only dream about what running pain free feels like.

Early morning run with the Circle of Trust. Good to get out with the guys. A good run with them and their smiling faces can lift the mood when your down.  No watch but the pace was slowish. Body felt pretty rough but I'm glad to have gotten a run in and early so the rest of the day can be recovery.

Had a crazy morning of "tri" training. Started out with a planned 2 or so hour ride. Ended up running into Mark Larsen who I'm told is the best cyclist in STG and one of the best in Utah. I passed him lol... about 1 mile after starting then 2 miles later he passed me. I then realized it was him. So I road up aside and introduced myself and asked to tag along. So out to Sand hollow we road chit chatting a long the way. It was fun to pick his brain about things. I had to turn around early to get back and do a run then pick up Myler. So at 20 miles out I flipped it (basically right at the lake entrance). Road solid back until I came into Washington and I got my first flat tire. Of all the days. I needed every second on my clock to get everything done before 11:30 to pick up the boy. So I changed the tire and lost about 7 min's but though it was still doable. Then started riding about a block and the new tube "blew up". Dang it! Now I'm in a situation. Started walking and hitchhiking but no luck. Finally called my wife and luckily she hadn't left for Vegas yet. So she was able to come pick up the bike and bring my running cloths. 35 mile ride before the flat.

8.6 mile run. I changed cloths in the truck then headed out for the run. Mik'L had taken the jogger to Myler's preschool so I could run there and then bring him home in it. So I was able to get in 3.9 miles before he was done with school then another 4.7 from school back home.

So after all the drama I only lost 5 miles of riding and .8 miles of running from my original plan. But the extra stress made it feel like much more. I've been dreading the flat tire thing... It sucks.

60 min's on the spinner

30 min's on the elliptical

Everything seemed hard this morning. I had no gas in the tank. Had planned to do an hour of each but was done after 10 min's on the elliptical. Hung in for another 20 but then was more than happy to call it.

Fields tempo loop. 6:45 avg. A little bettter run than the last couple Saturdays running this same route. Hip was pretty tight but the legs seemed to turn over better. Never pushed the pace but kept it honest throughout. Seemed to hold up ok. By the last couple miles I was done. Colder this morning at 36 F. But no frost yet...
