Met up at my house with Logan, Paul and Steve. We did the Bloomington Loop that we ran last week but today the legs felt much better. We started out nice and easy hitting the first mile in 8:15 and continued rolling along just chit chatting until down into Bloomington where Steven started pushing the pace at around mile 5.5 ish. We then pushed a faster than normal pace around Bloomington loop and over to the river tail. Then coming up the trail I suggested that we burn one mile off from the magic bush to the bridge. So we all took off (Steve started early) and ran that mile hard. I didn't reset the watch but I'm guessing I hit that mile really close to 5:20. No faster than 5:15 and no slower than 5:25... Then from there in to the house the deal was to just run nice and easy.

7:08 avg for the run.

Now is it an actual measured mile with a wheel from the magic bush to the bridge?

From Mike Warren on Wed, Sep 09, 2009 at 12:09:15 from 207.50.149.221

Ya, I agree with Dustin. Are you sure it was even a mile? Could of been a 1/2 mile in 5:20. Actually, yes I remember the Magic bush to the bridge and I have put a wheel on it. It's exactly 1/4 of a mile. So, you were cruisin pretty good at about a 21:00 minute mile very speedy, lol. Hey, great job getting out your turning Paul into an animal, SWEET!!

No this is the length of trail where we did our mile repeats last summer. So we've ran it to and fro over and over. It sure felt long today:)

I was just giving you a hard time, somebody once said everything had to be measured with a wheel to count. I would like to see your quarter splits for the entire run next time.

From Superfly on Wed, Sep 09, 2009 at 12:41:30 from 208.117.127.110

Yeah I know...

Actually the splits were crazy. I looked at the garmin around the end of the first quarter and was at 4:11 pace. Then on the last quarter as I climbed the little hill I looked and was at 5:35 pace...

Thanks for the run, Clyde. I don't remember the Singing Bush - was it before or after the Invisible Swordsman?

We need to plan Saturday's run, so I know about it before I head up to Murray.

Dave- I'm easy like Sunday morning so just plan it and let me know. I'll be going to club tonight if your going and we can chat about it or just plan a time and let me know... I'm guessing there will be a pretty good group if we get everyone out.
