Headed out to do the Flying J loop and about 3 miles into it I ran into Ruth. So I joined her and extended my loop down into Bloomington and back up the trail into BH then back home. I was kind of slow to get going and it was nice to run into her to help keep the pace honest. By the time I got home I felt really dehydrated and checked my weight... 154. Thats pretty low for me now-a-days. Even when I'm in really good marathon shape I like to be 152 the morning before a big race. So not too far off in a roundabout way. I still need to do a lot more core work and then someday slowly start to work some faster miles into my diet. But not just yet. I've been working with a new foam roller and so far the hammy is feeling no pain... I won't say good because I still feel like if I started to hammer my training that it could hurt again, but for now it's good enough to keep slowly increasing the miles. |
