B-hills extended through the Secret Street and Little Valley. Hip was worse than it was last week pre the Friday run. But better than the last three miles of the Friday run. It started out feeling very unstable with pain around a 5 out of 10. As the run progressed it seemed to gain in stability but the pain stayed the same. Dang! I sure hope I didn't screw it up for Saturday by doing that 20 miler on Friday. It was just coming around. Going to see April tonight and will play it safe all week with very little running or hard physical output in any sport.

You are in a different league than me running wise, but have you tried 3-4 weeks of moderate heavy squats done twice a week to see if that might tidy things up hips wise? You will be sore for a week or two, but then adaptation occurs and might cure your issues. Then just maintain that weight or cut back to once per week so you don't add body weight. Check out the Internet for proper form. Just a thought. Squats and deadlifts do wonders for the hips and knees if u stick with them.

Bob I'll have to think about the squats... actually after this race that's something to try. But I'm a baby. Even pre injury squats rocked my world.

Ben- thanks man I think my number is 162
