6.5 mile run today around noon. We hunted all morning and I ended up getting a little 2-point buck. I was going to wait for a big one but today was the last day I could hunt. We will go out tonight and we'll see some big ones with my luck. Anyways it was fun and took the morning taking care of it.

The run sucked. The first 2 miles I was hidden down in a canyon but as soon as I rounded the turn I hit a bad headwind and it killed me on the way back to the house.

I am disappointed,I thought you were elk hunting! Although, I do like deer jerky.

A 2-point??? Is that legal? Are you going to stuff the head?

I can mock, because I have never hunted and therefore know nothing of the difficulty of bagging a real deer. Oh well, I bet the meat is tender.

I'll have some good jerky made for after the race on Saturday night.

No- Cody I'm not going to stuff the head. It would be nice if I could get one big enough to consider it but with my hunting luck that will never happen.
