Did the "now" standard morning loop. It sucked. I guess I did more damage last Friday when  tripped and pulled the hammy than I realized. Last night it hurt all night in bed. I went out and the pain was back to around a 4.5 or so. I haven't felt like this for around 2 months!!! Hopefully it's not full blown. I was also battling a bad case of neural fatigue and that could have had something to do with why this mornings run sucked so bad. I guess for now I'm just listing myself as day-to-day and it's too late to cancel for Squaw so if I feel good that week or day of the race I'll do it. If not I'll pass.

Injurys are like weeds! Man, tough to get em gone. When is Squaw? Just wondering, thats sound like a brutal race, maybe with the injury live to race another race.

Neural fatigue? better talk to Sasha about that. Hope you get to feeling better. We tried stopping by Monday night with a present for the baby, but nobody was home. Hopefully, we'll get it to you sometime soon.

I hate that dang neural fatigue, maybe that was my problem this morning. I am going to say it was.

Bummer man. Sorry to hear things aren't clearing up with the hammy.

I'm going to hold a 10k. I'll call it "The race to help find a cure for neural fatigue":) It's free and it will help fight off obesity too. Anyone in?

From superfly on Wed, May 06, 2009 at 15:08:52 from 209.33.210.52

Yeah Glen it sucks. It's going to be a long slow process. The good news is I can go run but I just can't go fast at all. But for now I'll take being able to just run.

From josse on Wed, May 06, 2009 at 15:08:55 from 70.192.176.70

Are we going to see who can sleep the longest. That is the best way to fight off neural fatigue:)

From superfly on Wed, May 06, 2009 at 15:11:20 from 209.33.210.52

Actually I think I could totally dominate a sleep competition. Get the temp down to 60ish give me a nice soft blanket with a dark quiet room and I could push out a good 20 hours.

From Dustin on Wed, May 06, 2009 at 15:11:49 from 204.113.48.69

What if I just have fatigue can I still enter the race?

From superfly on Wed, May 06, 2009 at 15:17:40 from 209.33.210.52

Yeah Dustin you in. Fatigue or Neural Fatigue it's all bad and we need to find a cure.

From Dustin on Wed, May 06, 2009 at 15:18:47 from 204.113.48.69

Actually, I just read a little bit about muscle fatigue and neural fatigue and I do understand a little bit better now the difference between the two.

From Little Bad Legs on Wed, May 06, 2009 at 15:25:29 from 68.186.96.165

It could be a 'race for the cure,' complete with ribbons and testimonials. I sure-fire success, no doubt! :)

Hang in there Clyde, listen to your body and take care of yourself;-)

From TylerS on Thu, May 07, 2009 at 00:53:29 from 66.119.143.249

Dustin I would like to hear the difference between the two! But I want it on a nice easy run, and in a voice other than your own....hint hint! Hope the hammy gets feeling better Clyde!
