Total Distance
9.50

Same loop as yesterday. I wore the garmin today to make sure the distance was what I thought it was and it was spot on. Todays time was 1:10:50 and I had 1:10:40 yesterday but that was microwave time so most likely today was a correct and yesterday was a little slower than today...

Anyways the run was ok. Hammy was sore but runnable. I got the run done just before the wind and storm got into town so that was nice. Coming down through GS I was hitting 6:30 pace unpushed but thats really no highlight. I've been doing more core stuff than in the past and I'll try to keep it up with some consistent milage. Plus on Thursday I'll try and do my birthday challenge with Stevie boy so that should be fun.

How many miles will it be this year on the birthday?

From Clay on Tue, Apr 14, 2009 at 15:44:47 from 66.119.143.249

If I ran as many miles as my age it would take me a good week or more(46)... There's no way I could do it all in one day, I would surely die! I turn 46 in about a week, so maybe if I started now I just might make it.

Keep working hard Clyde.

Good luck on the birthday challenge. I am running 50 for my 50th this summer. It is going to tough to do in the heat but what the heck. I will run through the night.

You have an open invitation, it will be towards the end of July so that I can recoup for the Hobble Creek Half on Aug 22nd.

Good luck with the hammy!

Dustin I'll be 30 this year. So 30 miles Thursday morning... we'll see if I make it. Last year I did 29 but I did half in the morning and half in the evening and I was in a lot better shape. We will be starting at around 4 a.m and your welcome to join.

Clay- You could do it. I'm going to try and pull it off until I'm 50. But since I've only did it once so far we will see how long I make it.

Scott- sounds fun and maybe I will join but that will be decided at a later date... you can join me and Stevie on Thursday...
