Got a short run in this morning out in the dark and rain. Legs felt pretty good after yesterdays hill workout. Lots of rain this week: good and bad. Good cuz we really, really need the water. Bad cuz it makes it hard to get runs in when it's cold and wet out. Hopefully it's not muddy and wet on Sat for our 30 mile (speed) workout.

6.3 miles on the treadmill this evening. It was raining way too much to go out and do the club run. If anyone else went bless your souls.

I'd kill to get rained on during a run.

Paul it's not like you think. I love a good run in the summer during a rain storm... but this is a solid rain and you'd be soaked through you tights in a quarter mile... then the wind and colder temps (43 ish) just freeze ya.

Actually running in a snow storm would be much more enjoyable. You wouldn't get half as cold or soaked.

Thanks Samantha. The actual race isn't until Feb 13 but we are doing a 30 mile long run tomorrow in prep.

Dave- Sorry mate it was raining way too hard last night to go over there... if you did you should get a prize. Maybe I'll get you one of the new Pepsi's with real sugar.

It makes me wonder what in the crap they had in there before? And should anyone have been drinking it?!
