6.8 miles this morning. Ran up into GS to the golf course and then did 1.25 on the grass in the five fingers and then back home. The legs felt sluggy but better than the last couple of days.

(Red Stratus 5.55)

6.9 mile run with the club tonight. Just an easy little diddy. I really needed to go about 5 miles into it but held off until I got home.

Must be a thing going around, because my legs have been sluggish too. It must be the running and bike riding were doing. I got a new road bike as well called the Specialized Tarmac Elite 2008.

Plans for tomorrow - we will plan on leaving around 2:00, so we don't have to rush up and get set up in the dark and stuff, and we have a trailer spot at the KOA in Cannonville. We'll plan more tonight.

Dave- that will be great. Thanks for taking care of all the details. I'll see ya tonight.

Kory- Good job on the biking as well. That will help your overall fitness.

I take it you guys won't be running at sub 6 min pace tonight with the Bull!

From wheakory on Thu, Jul 17, 2008 at 16:14:03

Clyde what kind/brand of bike do you have.

From Superfly on Thu, Jul 17, 2008 at 16:49:17

Bull- We ran at sub 5:20 pace Tuesday night at the Chelsi race. So no 6 min pace tonight.

Kory- I am more of an dirt kind of guy. So I bought a mountain bike that I could also ride on the streets. It's a lot heavier than a regular street bike which is good with me because it gives me more of a workout. I love hitting the dirt trails hard and this bike can handle all the abuse I'll give it.

It's a Giant Reign 2-

Nice Bike. 18 speed with the SRAM and Shimano shifters is a good choice with quality components.

Are you sure you didnt go sooner that you thought? I was behind you for most of the run.

From Superfly on Fri, Jul 18, 2008 at 10:31:20

I held off, barley.
