12.3 mile run this morning up around overpass. I had music this morning and the legs felt strong, and swift. It seems I had a lot more output than any run in the last 2-3 months. Maybe I'm finally turning the corner and getting out of that winter slump... Ended up doing the entire run at 6:40 pace without ever throwing it into tempo pace or effort.

7.7 mile run this afternoon/ evening. The paved GS loop with 1.1 miles barefoot on the golf course and then a short extended version around Casidas Del Sol.

The run was an avg of 6:53 pace. I really enjoyed the barefoot on the grass. It felt good and I could instantly feel some changes in my form. It's been a long time (pre STGM) since I hit the barefoot.

That is amazing!! How do you think you are coming on your goal for the St. George Marathon?

Nice run buddy.

Ryan as far as STGM is concerned I'm not sure where I'm at. But at this point I've got a lot to do between now and then. I've go 2 full marathons before then, several half marathons, and a bunch of other races to run all summer to get me ready for STGM.

So at this point all I'm thinking about is the Ogden half marathon on April 5, and the Ogden marathon on May17.

Glad you tried the drink before I had to! Doesn't sound that great to me. I feel like I am getting out of the slump as well. I think the warm weather has all to do with that!

Pandora is pretty sweet, we use it lots. It does get kind of annoying that you can't request a specific song, though. Sometimes you're in the mood for that "one song," and not ten others that are "similar." Still, pretty convenient.

thanks clyde i think i need sleep too. I heard that as a teenager i should at least be getting 8 hours a night. Its okay though its just an element that can happen to a runner.

Great workout Clyde. It's good to allow your feet to form to the ground and strengthen the muscles when running barefoot. I want to do this when it warms up and not so wet here. Your training is looking excellent, and you'll be prepared for the upcoming marathons? What's the temperature there so that I can be jealous?

I've been using pandora.com for about 6 months it's great. I used to use music.yahoo.com, but you have to pay to remove all the interruptions.
