| | I've decided I might have been tying my shoes too tight and that's why they were bothering me. I felt quite good today considering what happened Saturday, but I guess my recovery efforts made a big difference. I was also loving the humidity this morning. 6:35 average.

| | Easy peasy morning for me just because I could and felt like it would do my body good. (That rhymed!) Things felt like they were firing properly, and it was good practice for me on controlling the effort. 6:54 average

| | Coldest day so far for this fall heading into winter. I broke out the tights and the headband to keep the ears warm. Online it said it was 23 in Logan, but Brother Lucherini told me it was 18°F at his house in North Logan, and I think that's probably about what it actually was for my run. I felt surprisingly good, and the cool air put me in a great mental state. 6:34 average. My legs are now feeling tired and a little sore now though.

| | Was up a little later than normal because I was talking to my roommate about school and missions (which was also a rare occurence). Slept in 15 minutes to try and make up for it, but I still woke up feeling pretty tired. I took things fairly easy effort wise, and I honestly felt great physically. Between all the soup and chocolate milk I had last night, I did have to stop and poop, but the legs felt fine. I also discovered the Hyde Park Cemetary porta-potty is gone. 6:52 average

| | The first half of the run I did not feel good. My stomach was uneasy and my head felt funny. I felt great the second half of the run though, and I was able to not think about running at all and ponder gospel truths. 6:46 average for 9.5 miles.
I also ran 2.6 miles watching the NCAA Mountain regional races. I'm not officially counting them as miles because it wasn't consistent enough.

| | Stayed up watching the BYU football game so I slept in and actually ran in the light for once. Kind of like yesterday, my stomach didn't feel the best for the first 6 miles. I also woke up with some tight hips and glutes. They didn't really bother me during the run though. I could tell by mile 3, despite the fact that I wasn't feeling great at the time, that it was going to be a quality run. 6:13 average. My last 8 miles were 5:57,5:54,5:59,6:00,5:57, 6:01, 6:06, 6:06. I didn't really get uncomfortable until the last mile.
