| | I felt pretty good warming up. My legs weren't tight or anything. We were supposed to be 2xas far as possible at 4seconds per 400 faster than race pace. My legs were still dead and were struggling. I made it 800 meters both times at 4:40 pace, but it wasn't easy at all. I was struggling to even keep form for that long. I tried a 400 but I felt the ankle a little and I cut it short because this workout was my last one before getting hurt last year. The Robber and I went out and did 30 easy minutes. It was well needed and we were just able to discuss some things.

| | Ran the TEAM warmup. Went out and did a six mile run with the Robber at about 6:40 pace.. My IT bands were feeling pretty tight. The legs still felt kind of tired. It was hot and windy. I got back and did 3 150 finishes. I felt pretty fast and relaxed on those. Some stretching mostly after

Dual Meet @ Davis (0.994 Miles) 00:04:37, Place overall: 2, Place in age division: 2 | | The TEAM lap was sweet. We were chanting Track/field and they were all just looking at us. I did my jogging to warmup with Zach. My hips were feeling tight but it was pretty nice racing weather. I just got on the line and was ready to compete. I tucked in right with Kimball and Colter. I felt pretty relaxed just running right with them. Third lap we pushed a little but not much. I knew Colter could probably outkick me. Kimball pulled away but I got him in the last 50. Colter won, but the three of us were only a second apart. I was happy with it barely a PR, and it didn't feel hurt terribly. I told Kimball I'd do the work next time. I cooled down easy while watching other events. I warmed up a little and ran the 4x400. I was second and they did a 3 turn stagger which threw me off a bit. I only split a 57 but that's alright I guess. Two miles easy cooldown after. The boys scores were Davis 63 Syracuse 58. It was close.

| | Junior high meet so didn't have much time to do anything. I ran an easy ten or eleven minutes and then did a couple 150 finishes with jogging in between. I dropped the super heavy long jump board on my foot..... so that really messed up my toe. I am getting burnt out I think

Woods Cross Invitational (1.988 Miles) 00:10:05, Place overall: 4, Place in age division: 4 | | I woke up beat and was feeling it throughout the day. The legs felt decent warming up, and my toe wasn't hurting. I was mentally just not ready to fight today. The first mile was good we were 4:54, the only thing I would change is that our first lap was a 68 so that was a bit too fast. I started to feel my legs hurting about 3 laps in so that was a problem. I just told myself to get through the race. I just didn't have it that second mile. I couldn't even sum up much of a kick..
I don't like to make excuses but the late days at track meets has drained me by messing up my eating schedule and being up late doing homework. I definitely feel burned out now. I did a 20 minute really easy cooldown. The Davis guys are good guys, just like me. Josh Ward is a good friend and helped me keep a positive attitude. I also had a good chat with Kimball after the meet. Kimball and I are pretty similar I think..

| | Feeling burnt out this week so mixed things up today along with good sleep which was nice. I ran to 1800 and back on the dirt canal road. I felt pretty good and didn't wear a watch. I think I went faster than I normally would. I was just enjoying it. After that I got on my bike and biked for 50 minutes. It was pretty intense biking heartrate wise and gives the rest of the body a decent break, so a win win hopefully. It's time to put together some big races.
