Track workout today. Did 12x400s at 10k race pace with 400 jog in between. Goal was to keep these at 1:28. First one was 1:26, 2nd 1:30, then I started hitting most 1:27-1:28. Jog in between was between 7:25-8:00 pace. On avg 7:45. Felt pretty good today.
2 miles wu then 5 at marathon pace. Started at top of piñon. Splits were 6:02, 5:57, 6:30, 7:21, 6:53. First 2 down 3rd mile rolling, last 2 up. 6:33 ap. Fell off the mark big time. Not sure why? Frustrated at this one...
