Got up and ran outside today. Did a mile warm up and stretching...Then did 3x800s with .25 jog in between. Splits for my 800s were 3:07, 3:10 3:10 and I also did a mile too at 6:20. (jog in between was between 8-9 minute pace) Leg felt ok..I could barely feel it. Not sure if I am going to do the utah valley marathon this Saturday or not. I think my leg could handle the half though-if anyone knows of anyone who would trade me their half spot for my full marathon spot-that would be awesome or if someone isn't running the half and I could buy their spot from them for a small price...I'm just thinking the full is probably not gong to happen at this point with my lack of training. Anyway-let me know because I really want to run the half!!! |
