Did a 5.5 mile tempo run at the track today. Did it at the track so that I could run an even pace the whole time and get a feel for my goal race pace. My goal was to run them around 6:30 pace. Splits were 6:36 (took me a mile to get going), 6:32, 6:32, 6:30, 6:29 and last 800  was a 2:55. (I had alot in the tank left and know I could have ran at least another mile or two at 6:30 pace-but ran out of time.) Anyway-the average pace for the run was 6:28-so not too bad. Felt really good
