How is your achilles? Are you still planning on the marathon? I'm guessing TOU. I know when I run hard, fast miles like you are doing, all kinds of injuries flare up. I find running on the grass at a park or soccer field is much more forgiving than the pavement. You may want to limit your sub 7 miles per week to one session, or a certain number of miles. While you are ramping up your base mileage for the marathon, you don't want to multiply wear and tear with too many quick miles.
